A few weeks ago, I was exchanging texts with a friend when Auto Correct changed "Dittos" to "Doritos."
Pretty funny, we thought, especially since my friend works for PepsiCo. But after listening to Apple's third quarter conference call last week, I think we accidentally stumbled upon the first new offering of the company's "very busy fall":
Brand-Sponsored Auto Correct.
Soon, LOL will auto correct to L’Oréal, tee-hee will become Snickers, 100 will become Hyundai, and "I'm going to Target, need anything?" will become "I'm going to Walmart, need anything?"
Pretty Amazon.com, isn't it?
