Congress Has a Lower Approval Rating than O.J.

It’s not clear to me who is behind Public Notice or its website

And I doubt that the group’s claims of being non-partisan and unbiased are real, as it was formed by former Bush-administration spokesperson Gretchen Hamel, who has deep ties to the GOP.

So that makes this new video (above) either devious or brilliant, depending on your point of view.

Strategically, appearing to attack both political parties lends credibility to Public Notice’s “fair and balanced” claim, whether the group is evenhanded or not.

And the comparison of Congress’s approval rating to O.J. Simpson, well, that’s pure genius, no matter which party you support—Democratic, Republican or Tea.

Should the information about who funds groups like Public Notice be more public and transparent? I vote “yes.”
