A More Powerful Form of Protest

Yesterday’s G-20 protests made a statement—but that statement was a polarizing one.

Watching the torrent of tweets from London yesterday, most were of the “you suck” and “no, you suck” variety, which never advances anybody’s agenda.

This charmingly simple 30-second Repower America ad demonstrates a better way to unite capitalists, anti-capitalists, and everyone but the coal industry for a common cause.

I love Repower’s powerfully straightforward mission statement, too: “100% clean electricity within 10 years.” Now that’s strategic communications.
