I’m sure in another few weeks, we’ll all be be sick of Coke’s upcoming Olympic advertising onslaught.
But for right now, it really is “delicious happiness” (that’s how Coca-Cola translates in Mandarin) to see creative ads like this “Bird’s Nest” spot from the beverage giant.
Unlike some corporate sponsors, Coke isn’t pulling back on its Olympic marketing commitment. It’s a bold risk, but the rewards could be even higher if the camaraderie of the games outweighs the controversies.
