Wind turbines pop up a lot in ads these days. Not hard to see why, since they photograph so beautifully and instantly symbolize alternative energy.
But how do you show them in a fresh way, since we’ve all seen hundreds of shots of spinning rotors against blue skies and blazing sunsets?
What if we add a human element to it—a little boy representing the future? With a kite, just like Ben Franklin.
Nice allusion, perhaps. But I’m not sure how “world wise” it is to be flying a kite near a wind turbine field. Morgan Stanley might want to consult risk management on that one.
