This Christmas, Name a Star After Someone

If you’ve listened to the radio at all in the last, oh, 30 years, you’ve surely heard Rocky Mosele pitching the International Star Registry.

That’s right, for as little as $54, you can name a star after anyone on your holiday gift list. That guy.

Of course, Rocky & Co. can’t really name a star. Only the International Astronomical Union can. That’s why lots of people over the years have called the offer a scam, despite the ISR’s disclosures.

Randall M. Reuff (video above) sure doesn’t think so. And he has a star in the Ophicus constellation named after him to prove it.

So do more than one million other people since 1979.
