Bad Marketers Are Like Party Boors

I just got a hefty new-project brief filled with hundreds of chest-thumping facts about the company.

But there wasn’t a single meaningful insight about the consumers who buy its products.

Made me think: Bad marketers are like party boors.

They can talk about themselves all night without anyone caring.

Great marketing begins with an insight, not a PowerPoint.

Think outside in. Not inside out.
